Not more than one night

This is an older campground and shows its age…and wear. There are several semi-permanent residents here. Some facilities need repair and/or maintenance. Water in the shower was hot, but the showers were small, and there was no place for d as iso, shaving things, shampoo, ets. And no place to sit to. There is a pool and a lake with a swim beach. Kayak rental. Playground, laundry, showers/ bathrooms are passable. Internet is very slow.

Favorite campground

I stay here at least once every summer. Has beautiful pool and lake, playground, arcade, and boat rentals. Fishing, hiking, basketball. Very friendly staff all the time. Close to stores and restaurants but far enough out to not hear any noise. Phone service is superb. Clean shower and restrooms. Hot water. Electric tent sites!!! Has everything I live and will continue to go here as long as I’m in the state of Va. def recommended

Great family/pet friendly site with lots of activities

Stayed here for one night on a quick trip to Lynchburg. Staff very friendly and helpful. Campground was very clean and easy to navigate. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the low water pressure at the dump site. I would absolutely stay again.

Horribly low water pressure. Staff reported park has only well water not city provided water so only 35 psi. We removed all our water filters to get slightly better pressure

Nice smaller lake, but we had a great time!

We arrived during the day just after a rain storm. We tent camped and it was pretty muddy. The sites were nice and private for tent campers. RVs was a different story. The bathroom was a good walk up the hill so bring your bikes. We would definitely go back though!

Kid Friendly Campground

We camped here in late June 2020. We had a W/E back in site. We had site 45. The sites are a little closer than we like, so this will not be a campground we return to.

There were lots of kids and lots of kid activities. The park is lightly shaded and the WiFi does not reach most camping areas.
