Utah State Trust Lands along the Salt Valley Road corridor place this rocky desert pullout between US 191 (Dinosaur Diamond Prehistoric Highway) and the broad wash country north of Arches. Road noise from the highway carries to the site, and the rocky surface keeps high-centered 2WD vehicles close to the edge of the access track — high clearance is advisable, especially when rain is in the forecast.
