Muley Point BLM Dispersed — Cedar Mesa Rim

Muley Point sits atop the southern rim of Cedar Mesa at roughly 6,300 feet, with the mesa edge dropping more than a thousand feet into the canyon system below and Monument Valley spread across the horizon to the south. Flat expanses of bare rock and scattered scrub offer multiple open camping positions along the rim, with sweeping views in nearly every direction and reliably quiet nights despite occasional daytime foot traffic from sightseers. The access road is unpaved and can be rough in spots — high-clearance is wise after rain, though the route is manageable for most vehicles in dry conditions.
