Description
Tucked off Echo Dam Road along the Weber River corridor in northeastern Utah, this small BLM pullout sits at the edge of a narrow strip of public land flanked by Echo Reservoir to the southeast and the rugged shrublands around Echo Canyon. Road noise from the nearby secondary road is present through the evening but mellows after dark, and the setting — open terrain with reservoir views and wildlife grazing in the surrounding management area — gives it more character than a typical highway stop. Space is tight, suiting vans and truck campers rather than larger rigs; the Union Pacific Rail Trail, accessible from the area, offers a solid out-and-back for walking or biking.
