The setting is wide and treeless at its center, with a sheltering tree line along the edge — ideal for tucking a rig out of the wind in winter. The approach off the highway requires four-wheel drive once the road turns to dirt, and snow on the ground is the norm when Brian Head Ski Resort, five minutes away, is in season.
