Description
Open BLM desert plateau country southeast of Mexican Hat, with wide mesa views and the dramatic San Juan River canyon at Goosenecks State Park just a few miles to the southwest. The pullout is large, paved-road accessible, and handles multiple rigs at once — trailers, vans, and RVs have all parked here comfortably. Expect daytime foot traffic and passing vehicles; this spot functions more as a well-used roadside overnight than a secluded camp, and is best suited to a one-night layover.
