BLM 64H Dispersed — Coral Sand Dunes Area

Sandy high-desert terrain studded with scrubby evergreens, this BLM dispersed area sits off BLM 64H in the Coral Sand Dunes corridor north of Kanab — about 5,700 feet in elevation and well away from the crowds of nearby southern Utah destinations. Multiple clearings among the trees accommodate everything from truck campers to large rigs, with the firmer ground set back from the road offering a stable surface where the red sand can otherwise run surprisingly deep. Road noise is minimal after dark, and cell signal — a few bars on most major carriers — is generally available.
