Beautiful Campground
This was a beautiful campground. It does not take reservations; however, several sites were open when I arrived in late August. I spent three nights here. There is potable water and restrooms available.
The site I selected was just off the main road. It was quite private and had more than enough room for my car, tent, chair, and me. My campsite was just steps from the creek, which provided a relaxing atmosphere. There is a lot to do and see in this area. I cannot wait to visit again.
This campground gives you access to the Medicine Bow Mountian Range, with miles of hiking and picturesque views all around. The hike up Medicine Bow Peak was a fairly easy hike. Depending on where you start your hike, there are trails up both sides of the mountain that start from the same spot, so be sure to check your map.

Great campground, Awesome views!
Libby Creek Campground in Wyoming is a great spot if you are looking to get away and relax. The scenery is awesome, and the campground is well kept and maintained. They do have first come first serve sites, which you want to get there early because they do fill up fast. I believe they have a few small areas that you can call ahead and make reservations. The campsites are pretty basic. Within your campsite you have a table, fire pit and a small area for you belongings, and car. The campground isn't very big, so the campsites are pretty close together. There also are restrooms, and a place you can get water. However, I didn't really like the taste of the water. Thankfully we brought our own. Also, there are a few different campgrounds located around Libby Creek. There is the Aspen Campground (the one I stayed at), Willow Campground, and I believe there is one more. The creek is great for fishing, I was able to catch a few rainbow and brook trout, which we had for dinner. Our campsite was pretty close to the creek, so I would fall asleep to the sound of water at night. Pretty awesome! There are some hiking and biking trails nearby, however I didn't have enough time to do those activities. I would come back and stay again, maybe for a few days longer so I could get some hiking in.
