Quiet and Clean Campground
Really nice campground. The Army Corps of engineers maintains the place. Kept up pretty good. Boat launch. Campsites have table, grill and fire pit. Staying one night in route to Dauphin Island, AL. Probably gets busy on weekends. First come, first serve. Free!
Quiet spot
I came in thursday evening and most spots were full. Fortunately i was able to get one of the last ones. Each come with a couple of parking spots, concrete picnic bench, trash can, and grill. I was able to get a spot on the water, but i’m pretty positive they all are on the water. The road is bumpy on the way in so take it slow.
