Waylon Jennings RV Park

RV travelers passing through the Texas Panhandle find convenient overnight accommodations at this county-managed park in Littlefield. The facility operates year-round and provides free camping with water and electric hookups, plus an on-site dump station for self-contained units.

The park features two distinct camping areas. One section offers full hookup sites that tend to fill with longer-term residents, while a second area provides water and electric hookups with more space between sites. Campers report that some full hookup spots remain occupied by empty rigs for extended periods, limiting availability for travelers. The dump station location isn't clearly marked, requiring some searching to locate.

Sites accommodate RVs up to 50 feet, though some spots have low-hanging tree branches and shorter pull-through lengths. Most sites are back-in configurations on gravel surfaces. Ann F. notes the practical setup: "Electricity, water, dump site, hardware store next door!" The adjacent Ace Hardware proves helpful for camping supplies and propane fills.

Traffic noise from nearby roads diminishes after 10 PM according to multiple reviews. The park includes horseshoe pits, though visitors need to bring their own equipment. For additional camping options in the region, travelers can check Levelland City RV Park and Dump station. This setup works well for budget-conscious RV travelers needing a reliable overnight stop with full services.

A free municipal RV park offering water, electric, and dump station that campers regularly cited for excellent value. Sites can be tight with limited privacy, but most visitors reported peaceful stays.

Great place to stay!

I would have given 5 stars but was a little disappointed that the full hook up spots were being taken up with campers that sat empty the entire 4 days I was there.  There are 2 parks (essentially) next to one another.  One has sewer along with water and electric and the other just has water and electric and a dump station.  The dump station is not easy to find as there is no sign for it.  I found it when I was walking my dogs.  The area with the sewer hook ups was occupied with some giant rigs that have junk and stuff all around them.. obviously have been there for many months as witnessed by the tall grass under them.  It is disappointing that the town continues to let people stay there for that long.  Many weren't even occupied (they just sit empty).

Overall it is a nice place.  It sits right next to a hardware store.  The employees were very helpful with a few things I needed.  The town has several stores and there is a farm store, over by the Dollar Tree that fills propane tanks too!

Awesome overnight!

There are full hook up sites (back in) that were crowded when I was there but there is another lot with water / electric with a dump station if you want more privacy. Some full timers in the full hook up spots.

Nice park!

We stayed 4- 24 hour days.. if you stay longer it's 25.00 a night for 5 more days. The place is clean and has shade in most all spots. There are some full hook up sites. Then there are some with just water and electricity. There is a dump on site. It was very peaceful and dark at night. The grass is long and spotty but they are planning to put gravel down. We enjoyed the stay. We'll stop back again. Thanks

Good for a night or two.

Pretty simple place to stay. Has 30 amp electric (shared post), water (shared spigot) and a dump station. No FHU at sites. Most are back in but has a couple of pull thru's. There are a few that look like have been here awhile, so space is limited. Some sites have low hanging tree branches and sites are short. We got our 40' in but luckily found a site that had no back post so we could back in further. Traffic noise is tolerable but is quiet after 10pm.  It is greatly appreciated that the city opened it up and allows us to use.

Perfect overnight stop

Electricity, water, dump site, hardware store next door! Used a pull through site that was level and gravel. Donations accepted but free if you choose. Several overnighters in rvs and tents.

Free amenities

Stayed here for a night while traveling through and this site was great. There is free electric, water, and dumping. Unfortunately there is no bathroom. I got excellent phone service at this location.

The sites are pretty close to each other, so it isn’t very private. There were friendly stray dogs roaming around.

There is a horse shoe park, but it seemed like you would need to provide your own horse shoes.
