Very peaceful park

This small little park has been very peaceful so far. The people are wonderful and it’s very pet friendly. Amenities are lacking and the price is high but over all if you need to stay in the area we recommend it

NO Tents!

Around Salado there is not a lot of opportunity to be close to the historic areas and have tent camping. Someone in town had suggested this campsite to me as a possible only for me to find out upon arrival that it does not accept tent campers at all!! It looked like a nice enough campground for those traveling by RV with a lot of amenities, but a bit small. Perhaps this is the reason they do not want to encourage in their limited space tent campers.

The office staff was very friendly and if it was based just on their communication and kindness the rating would be higher, however without being able to stay here it was a little disappointing.
