Basic city park with electric hookups but no facilities. Multiple visitors reported feeling unwelcome due to local crowds and noise issues lasting until evening hours.

Low $ for full hookup in Town

The city park only has about four sites. Electric did not work on the first one I tried. A fellow from the city came out and helped me get plugged in after I called the phone number on Dyrt website. The phone call goes to the sheriffs department and they contact the city for you. Everyone was very helpful. This is way not fancy and the hook ups are really old but they work. The hook ups are close together so if you have a big rig it might take up more than one. I was the only one there. I don’t think they get used very much. The city park is nice and it is well lit all night long. There were some teenagers and families around there when I first got parked but they all left and the park was empty all night.

Not recommended

We had a hard time locating the area to park our camper for the night & when we did we found it full of trucks with hoods up, music playing & small crowds of what was probably local teens hanging out. We were very weary from traveling but did not feel comfortable so we moved on the Lamesa's city park not too far from there. Very disappointing.

Trucks anyone?

This nice little park gets a little busy with the local kids but remained under control. The noise and burnouts stopped at around 10. The police kept a lid on everything. This area is hard to find parks near only because they are not listed in any campground forums. They are there. A call to the local police and a park employee will unlock the water and 30 amp power for you. We were the only camper the night we stayed

City park

This spot is good for self sufficient RVs. There are no facilities, but there are plenty of electric hookups for RVs. Playground is nice and of course the park is town center so amenities are nearby.
