Managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Friendship Park provides day-use facilities and boat launch access at Granger Lake with reservations available for the large group area. The park allows pets and features a swimming beach alongside abundant wildlife viewing opportunities, with deer, rabbits, and diverse bird species frequently spotted throughout the grounds. Staff assistance is readily available, and the facility maintains dumpsters at the exit plus scattered trash cans for visitor convenience.
While overnight camping isn't offered here, campers can explore campgrounds near Granger Lake in the surrounding area. The park works well for day trips focused on swimming, boating, and family picnics with children.
