Wolf River Float and Stay sits along the Wolf River in La Grange, Tennessee, operating as a private campground with both drive-in and boat-in access. Sites range from $10-$20 per night and include basic amenities like trash service, with campfires, pets, and alcohol permitted throughout the property.
The riverside location provides direct water access for boaters and anglers, while the dual access options accommodate both traditional car camping and watercraft arrivals. Reservations are available for those planning ahead. Campers can find additional camping near La Grange for comparison shopping in the area.
Description
This site is right along the Wolf River in Moscow, TN. Spend a day on the water and enjoy kicking back and watching the river flow by. Wetland and song birds are plentiful here. Easy access to the Wolf River makes this site ideal for staying during a float trip. This location has an access point that will soon be upgraded in partnership with the Wolf River Conservancy but is currently able to be used as is.
Upgrades to the camp site will be in progress soon, which will include fencing and gate, electric hookups, and a firepit.
Currently, we recommend only RVs onsite as there are no bathrooms. Tent campers are welcome but we do not have any security in place nor restrooms.
There is some traffic noise during the day. The car wash directly adjacent is helpful for dirty boats if you are out on the river. Additional car parking in the car wash lot at $5/car.
The town of Moscow is walkable. There are two gas stations within walking distance and several restaurants including Southern Girls and Chapultapec.
