This picnic area is located at an elevation of 3,200 feet near the top of Round Knob in Greene County. A pavilion with a fireplace provides an excellent group gathering area. Evidence of nature's fury can be seen along the road. Look for fire scarred trees from the 1988 Davis Creek Fire and damage from a 1996 wind storm.

Directions
From Greeneville, take TN 350 south to the Camp Creek community and continue on the county road about two miles. Turn right on Forest Road 88 and travel five miles. The road dead ends at Round Knob.
