Panther Creek State Park has a great campground for families to spend time at. For a lesser known state park, they have a lot of amenities. Playgrounds, hiking, horseback trails, mountain bike trails, tennis courts, disc golf, baseball field, volleyball, lake access, swimming pool (closed for…
Awesome RV resort. Had a river stream right out the front door. Clean, quiet, heated pool, and close to downtown and Sugarland gate. Definitely recommend.
Sites are not well developed with power and sewer in odd places. Monthly rentals and not well kept. Has lake access but big manufacturing plant nearby and a little noisy, wouldn't swim here.
Stopped for a few nights here. The RV park is very well kept and very close to all the fun areas.
The scenery is nice, but get ready to be woken up by the campgrounds roosters at 5 AM every day. Won’t be back.
Very nice, clean, and super convenient location to everything. Spots are a little more spacious than some other KOA's I've visited!
Nice campground surrounded by forest. They have a pond for fishing and another pond for swimming with nice Sandy beach. They also put out bouncy houses for the kids at no extra cost. You can rent golf carts which is helpful since the campground is fairly large, the front and back sites are…

Best site for privacy is 49 plus it's pretty big. Sites 40-47 have electric and water. Sites 48-50 do not but all sites are close to the bath house. In my opinion, the privacy of site 49 was worth the lack of electricity and water. Site 50 was pretty close to the parking lot - I would not…

We stayed one night a very busy campground all sites were full. It is an older campground and is in need of updating. Campground hosts were helpful. Nice view of the lake . Many long term residents.
We really enjoyed staying here. The facility was very well kept and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Downtown parking is expensive, so the trolley stop at the entrance makes it easy to get into town without paying for parking.
Absolutely loved this camping spot. Beautiful and quiet area!
This was formally the eagles nest, now called pigeon forge rv resort. New club house, New bath houses, New camp sites, New everything. We stayed here during the spring rod run and had a blast. It was just far enough out wears valley to be away from the crowd. Sites were newly graded and many have…
If you're going to go to Smokie Mountain National Park, the is the side to stay on. Gatlinburg is absolutely nuts while Townsend is about 1000% calmer. The KOA is exactly what you'd expect. Knowledgeable staff and clean facilities.
-Fantastic bathrooms and showers. Laundry was on point…

Great trails, walkways, and a lot of activities available (tennis courts, basketball, frisbee, etc.). The restrooms/showers were clean and well stocked. The only drawback was the slow, and sometimes non-existent, wi-fi service.
The Townsend KOA is located close to the entrance of Cades Cove. It has many rv, tent, and cabin sites. The sites on the river seem to be the best. They are out of the way and a little more spaced out. We had the pull thru patio site #61. The site itself is really nice. It has a big patio and fire…
