Description
McQueen Gap Road (FS 69) meets the Appalachian Trail along the ridgeline terrain of Cherokee National Forest in northeastern Tennessee, with McQueen Knob rising just to the southwest. The well-maintained dirt road sees virtually no traffic overnight, making for a genuinely calm night in the southern Appalachians. Space is limited to one or two vehicles, and the access road is navigable by most rigs.
