Crossville / I-40 KOA Holiday Campground

Accessible year-round via Interstate 40, this KOA campground accommodates RVs up to 70 feet with full hookups on level gravel sites. The facility operates under family management and maintains reservations for travelers planning stops along the Tennessee corridor.

Most sites sit on concrete pads with recently planted saplings, creating an open layout with expansive lawn areas. Todd L. noted his gravel back-in site "did have a little slope front to back but was zero issue getting level" and featured views of one of the property's fishing ponds. The campground includes two playgrounds, a small swimming pool, and a dog park that reviewers consistently mention as well-maintained.

The camp store stocks supplies and serves hand-scooped ice cream in eight flavors, with pizza and wings available for delivery to sites via text order. WiFi and cellular service receive strong marks from multiple visitors, while the bathhouse features large individual rooms. During Halloween, management organizes trick-or-treating between sites and provides hot chocolate in the office. A nearby farm with donkeys adds rural character, and rabbits frequently appear throughout the grounds.

Road noise remains minimal compared to other highway-adjacent campgrounds, though some sites lack shade during summer months. The property sits in a secluded area with mountain views visible from certain spots. For campers exploring the broader region, campgrounds around Crab Orchard offer additional options within a few miles.

This location works well for travelers needing a reliable overnight stop with full amenities, families wanting recreational activities, and RV owners requiring level sites with dependable utilities along the I-40 corridor.

Guests commonly noted clean sites, excellent WiFi, and friendly staff with special touches like hand-dipped ice cream. Many mentioned the lack of shade and trees, though most found the quiet, well-maintained grounds suitable for overnight stays.

Clean Park Friendly Staff

Stayed for the weekend on our way to camp in Gatlinburg. Very nice campground! The lawn was cut and well kept and the staff was very friendly and courteous! Camp store had lots of cool stuff and awesome hand scooped ice cream… Pizza and wings are also available. You can text an order in and have it charged to your site and delivered. Wi-Fi and cell service were great! We’ll be making this a regular stop in both directions! A+++

1st time at a Koa, exceeded expectations

A Beautiful campsite, a ton of activies for the grandkids, lots of amenities, & I could go on and on. The staff were super to deal with. We had a gravel back in site, it did have a little slope front to back but was zero issue getting level. We had a great view of one of the ponds, and nice lawn on each side and behind us. There was a nice modern picnic table and a heavy duty fire ring, both of which we put to good use. This is the first time Ive ever been to a Koa, this one certainly set the bar pretty high. Loved our visit here, we were here for 3 nights.

Ps, they had a great store that served 8 flavors of hard ice cream!!

One of the nicer KOAs - concrete pads available, private shower rooms.

KOA I-40/Crossville, TN - We stayed one night in October, full hook ups, 50 amp, good wifi until the evening but our cell service was good. $59.87 per night, $53.88 with KOA discount. Nicely maintained park with level concrete sites in the front with grass, fire rings and picnic tables that were in excellent condition. Friendly, welcoming staff with a nice gift shop/store. Hand dipped ice cream is available along with freshly made pizza and wings if you don’t want to cook. It does sit right next to Highway 70 into Crossville and can be noisy but it didn’t bother us. Each bathroom is a private toilet and shower, very clean, nicely tiled and plenty of hot water. Small laundry, two washers and two dryers but there may have been additional laundry towards the back of the park. The park seems to be broken down into three sections, concrete pad pull throughs in the front, then the office area, then a second section of sites with gravel pads and these are closest to the bathrooms, then further out is another area with a pond or small lake for catch and release fishing. Well manicured property. Would definitely stay again and the ice cream was really good.

Newer KOA?

I'm only guessing that this is a newer campground because most of the sites are on concrete slabs with recently planted saplings. It is in a secluded area and there is a fishing pond.

Nice KOA

Lots of green grass. The dog park is very well kept. There is a road close by but not a major freeway. It’s one of the quieter KOA’s I have stayed at. Pool is small but very clean. The store is well stocked and you can get hand dipped ice cream.

Great stay!!

We had a blast at this KOA! The sites were clean and beautiful. Big bathhouse rooms. I really appreciated the family management. We stayed during Halloween and they organized sites for trick or treating and had hot chocolate and candy in the office. We really enjoyed our stay and our kids were sad to leave. Will definitely be back. Also they had great WiFi and there are 2 playgrounds for kids.

Pretty Basic

Super simple, not many trees or landscaping. No shade so super hot in summer. The farm next door had donkeys that visited. Clean and simple. An easy place to crash for the night but nothing special. Sunset was very pretty.

Pretty Bland

The campground is well kept and very clean....there's just not much to it. It's all pretty flat, no playground for kids and no shade.

Excellent stay.

Owners were cordial and accommodating to our specific need. They rolled out the Red Carpet. Really. A Red Carpet was rolled out as we approached the Registration area. WiFi and Cable TV were outstanding. Strongly recommend.

Nice environment

Campsites were poorly marked the owners mother woke us up at 7am then started to cut the grass around us. A rude awakening to say the least. Big fat rabbits running around everywhere
