Buffalo Gap national grassland boondocking

10 miles of dirt road but it is well kept. Last mile is little rougher. Downside you are camping on plateau and others can be nearby. No marked sites. But view is worth it.

This is a beautiful place to boondocks. You can back right up to the edge. The views are beautiful. You can drive down in the grassland all the way to indian creek but if it's wet I wouldn't advise to go down. Very slick where the rocks are not at. We found lots of pretty rocks petrified wood and agates. The neighbor Frank and his wife were so nice. He checks to see if there are bad people there lol. He said the west is still wild. The road in is no problem at all even if it wet. We did have some ATandT cel service. But down in the valley it was off and on. We were here for 5 nights. Loved this place!
