The campground operates as a working farm with goats, donkeys, chickens, ducks, and cattle that visitors can interact with and feed. "Our grandson loved feeding the goats and donkey so make sure you bring some fruit and/or veggies," notes one reviewer. Walking trails wind through wooded sections of the property, and amenities include cornhole boards and weekly movie nights. A new bathhouse has been added, with plans for glamping tents and a pond in development.
Owners Chris and Claire maintain hands-on involvement in daily operations and frequently check on guests. The campground offers level sites with good shade coverage, particularly the back-in spots. WiFi is available throughout the property. One camper mentioned the rooster can be "pretty expressive overnight," so light sleepers should pack earplugs.

Outside Inn Campground is nestled among tall pines in rural South Carolina. We are located in Santee, SC with easy access to I-95 and I-26. Each campsite features full hookup and spacious sites. Camp with a farm experience! We have a growing farm with highland cows, goats, pigs, donkey and chickens. Meander through the organic garden, bring a chair to the outdoor evening movie, and follow the trails through the woods. Rest, relax and recharge in our family friendly campground.
