Arcadia Backpack Camping Area sits within Rhode Island's Arcadia Management Area in West Greenwich, one of the larger blocks of public land in the state. Despite the backpack name, the site is drive-in accessible and includes full hookups: electric, water, and sewer. Campfires are permitted, picnic tables are on-site, and pets are welcome. Fishing, hiking, and biking trails are accessible from the area. Oak Embers Campground is a nearby private alternative for campers who want a different setup.

The Arcadia Backpack Camping Area is a primitive backpack camping site in the Arcadia Management Area within to the management area trail system.
Tent camping only.
Site is approx 1/3 mile behind gated access.
Parking available, but there is no official parking lot.
Gate must not be blocked if parking.
