Tanglewood Camping is located near Covington, PA, surrounded by forested terrain. The area experiences temperatures ranging from 20°F in winter to 80°F in summer. Nearby attractions include Pine Creek Gorge and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, offering hiking and scenic views.
Description
Tanglewood Camping is one of the best places in Pennsylvania's "Lake and Canyon Country" for star gazing and relaxing, as well as fun planned activities for the kids. We have tons of outdoor activities including volleyball, swimming, and license free fishing on our 5 acre spring fed lake. We have lovely cabins, spacious RV spaces and secluded campsites to fit all of your needs. You need not worry about "bearly" fitting your rig into our RV sites, we are able to accommodate everyone! Firewood, ice, and supplies are available at our camp store. Forget something at home? Ask us, we just might have it. When you are camping with us, you'll feel you can not only watch the stars, but you can almost reach out and touch them. That's just one of the magical things that can happen when you camp with us!
Refund Policy: Deposit forfeited for non-arrival on scheduled date. 14 day notice required for refund- with a $25.00 cancellation fee. No refund or credit if cancellation is less than 14 days before scheduled arrival date. No refunds for early departure or bad weather circumstances beyond our control.
Visitors: Invited guests of registered campers must register at the office and pay the visitor's fee before entering the campground. Additional parking is across from the office.
Quiet Hours: are from 10PM- 7AM
Pet Policy: Quiet pets with a current vaccination and license are permitted. Pets must be on a leash at all times, no exceptions. Please clean up after your pet. NO pets are permitted in rentals and are not permitted in the swim area. 2 dogs per site maximum.
Alcoholic Beverages: Permitted at campsites only. Do NOT walk around campground with alcohol.
Lake Policy: Swimming is at your own risk, and permitted in the roped off area only. Children must not swim alone.
License Free Fishing: Catch and release only.
Bicycles: Bikes are permitted and encouraged. Children 12 and under must wear a helmet, this is a Pennsylvania State Law
All children 2 and under stay free. Please note that if it is found that a child is on site over the age of 2, guests will be subject to charges added to their reservation
NOTICE: We do not allow any outside golf carts, ATVs, or side- by-sides of any kind.

Traveling North on Rt. 15 (99) exit at the Covington / Canoe Camp exit: • Turn right at end of ramp onto Business Route 15N • Go past Wendy’s, etc. • Turn right onto Canoe Camp Creek Road (across from the car wash) • Follow the paved road for 3.5 miles • At the stop sign, turn left onto East Hill Road (Old State Road) • After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Tanglewood Road • Tanglewood Road is about 1.5 miles and dead ends at the campground OR \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ If traveling South on Rt15(99): • Take the Covington/Canoe Camp Creek Exit • Turn RIGHT at end of ramp • Follow Bus 15. into town of Covington • Make LEFT at the blinking yellow light onto East Hill • Follow road for about 4MI • Turn right onto Tanglewood RD.
