Rocky Springs Campground

Quiet sites and helpful on-site owners define the experience at Rocky Springs Campground, positioned on a hilltop in rural Mercer County. This seasonal campground operates from mid-April through October, catering primarily to long-term guests with about 80% seasonal sites alongside approximately 20 spots for short-term visitors.

The campground features full hookups accommodating RVs up to 100 feet, with level gravel sites providing good shade coverage from mature trees. Campers can access both drive-in and walk-in sites, with amenities including clean restrooms, showers, and WiFi. A gated entrance provides security, and the location sits within Pennsylvania's Amish country, with an Amish-run nursery and produce stand nearby. Shopping requires a 15-minute drive, while places to camp around Mercer offer additional options for the region.

"This has to be one of, if not, the nicest campground in the area," notes Tadd and Justin. Reviews consistently highlight the peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained facilities, with owners Deb and Jim living on-site and providing personal attention to guests. The campground attracts visitors seeking a low-key environment rather than a party atmosphere.

Rocky Springs works well for campers wanting a quiet base camp with reliable hookups and attentive management in Pennsylvania's countryside.

Awesome !!!

Deb is the best! This is the third straight year that we’ve camped here and this place is so great and relaxed. Sold our house and she worked to get us a spot from late July till they close in October. (Our house isn’t built yet) Can’t say enough good things about this campground!

Beautiful!

This beautifully tree-filled campground is a bit off the beaten path, but definitely quiet, warm, and friendly. They have many seasonal sites that are well maintained, and several open spaces for short-term stays. Bathrooms/showers are clean, sites are gravel and level, and there is much shade to be had. Full hookups are well placed, pool looked clean, and check-in lady couldn’t have been nicer!

Really peaceful, secluded campground

This has to be one of, if not, the nicest campground in the area. Deb and Jim have really made this place amazing. It sits up on top of the hill, it’s really peaceful, hardly any kids or rowdy people. Most everything including the hookups are brand new. Most of the campground is made up of seasonal campers. In fact, we liked it so much after a week long visit, we signed up for a seasonal site for the 2021 season. I cannot recommend it enough.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, wooded and scenic

This is the place to unwind and relax. If you want to build giant bonfires and drink and party loudly until all hours of the night, this is not for you.

Camp owners live here and are extremely helpful and friendly.

Gated entrance for security; very safe area in the middle of Amish country:closest businesses are an Amish-run nursery and a fruit/vegetable stand. Shopping is about 15 minutes away and Shenango Reservoir is about 20 minutes away.

Large sites

Mostly seasonal, and about 20 others, including pull-through a.
