Beautiful starry skies & trails!

Only was able to spend one night here but I’m excited to return ASAP! The night skies were beautiful (starry starry night w/little light pollution) and trails galore leading directly from the campground. Bathrooms were clean as well- an added bonus!

Really easy hiking, good for swimming

Also known as Halfway Dam, or R.B. Winter, this is a great place for some easy hiking trails and beautiful scenic walks. Also, very family friendly for swimming, picnicking or other great activities.

Family friendly

We love RB Winter State Park. It is family friendly. Small dam with a nice beach and COLD water. Playground on the beach is a plus with little kids. A concession stand is open in the summer. Campsites are nice too.

A super nice campground with swimming, fishing and hiking.

That it is a beautiful campground well maintained and one of the nicest bathhouses in any state park I have been to. Came in spring this year and will be going back in August for more fun. The children love it and can’t wait to come back too.
