Irish and Taylor Lakes Campground is accessible only via high clearance 4x4 vehicles. The road leading to this hidden alpine destination is extremely rugged from either direction, featuring a challenging trail through stunning mountain terrain. The bouncy, rough route rewards visitors with complete serenity upon arrival. Due to the remote nature and difficult access, it's essential to prepare your vehicle appropriately and bring all necessary supplies. There are no maintained roads to this location, which helps preserve its pristine, unspoiled character. Irish and Taylor Lakes Campground is not directly on the Pacific Crest Trail.
