The Catherine Summit Sno-Park is a large winter trailhead located off Highway 203. Popular with snowmobilers, snowshoers and Nordic skiers, the facility has vault toilet and ski and riding area map . As a multi-use facility, the snowmobile trails are maintained in partnership with the local clubs, and the Sno-Park is plowed under an agreement with the Oregon Department of Transporation. A State Sno-Park permit is required to use this facility in the winter season.

From La Grande, Oregon travel south on Highway 203 for 14 miles towards Union, Oregon; in Union turn left on East Beakman St. and follow the signs to continue on Highway 203 (also known as Medical Springs Highway); From Union travel on Highway 203 for 14 more miles going past Catherine Creek State Park to the top of Catherine Summit; The site is on the right side of the road. From Baker City, Oregon travel north on Interstate 84 for 5 miles to exit 282 (State Highway 203- Medical Springs Hihgway); Turn right on Highway 203 and go 24.5 miles to to the top of Catherine Summit; The site is on the left side of the road.
