Description
Coral Lake occupies a quiet fold of Oregon high-desert terrain on BLM land, tucked into the mountains east of the Honeycombs Wilderness Study Area near Atkins Butte. The lake sits against a small dam where a fire ring has been established, making for a self-contained overnight with natural water nearby and complete silence after dark. Cell service is nonexistent out here, and the approach is best suited to smaller, high-clearance rigs.
