Great little spot

Clean, easy to find. Nice spots to back into. No store but ice for sale. Bathrooms are clean. River right there for fishing or little stroll.

Perfect site by the Snake River

Were lead to our site and given general rules and codes to restrooms. Great views of the Snake River. Trains going by on the Idaho side could bother some, but after a few times it blended into the background. Also has a public boat ramp.

Restrooms were nice, did feel they were reluctant to give us the code to the shower facilities (separate from the restrooms and in another building).

Sites are close together, need a water pressure regulator. Large trash bins by entrance.

There are lampposts which are nice for security and taking the dog out at night, but cuts down on viewing the night sky. Given the remote location the night sky could be a real selling point.

Overall a great place to stay and the views of the Snake river are fantastic.

Can’t complain

Little buggy but little moths? Super clean bathroom at the front of the park. Checked in and paid for the site for the night around 8pm with no issues then was guided by a gold cart to our site. Was easy to switch to a different one to spread out a little more (out dog barks like crazy at other dogs and the site two down from original had dogs) just stopped for the night as we trek across from Washington to the east coast

New Name! Oasis on the Snake

This campground is now known as the Oasis on the Snake. The owners are great hosts and are always available. The end of August is a bit slow here, the water in the Snake is not good for swimming. But the location is beautiful and very relaxing.

Nice location and wonderful hosts!

We stayed overnight here in mid November of 2020. It is on the SW bank of the Snake River, not far from FareWell Bend and the town of Huntington. And, it is next door to a public boat ramp (where you can boondock if you so choose). The proprietors are very nice folks and the scenery is beautiful! We got snowed on while we were there, but that's eastern Oregon in November!
