Not as nice as other parks along our i40 route from CA to GA, but hospitality was great and appreciated the kindness of the folks who manage this property. Little sketchy of the red/brown lake water to swim in and the bugs are massive compared to the desert. Lol but we loved the lush forests,…
We’ve camped at Tenkiller State Park once before and stayed in Shady Grove (rv area). This time we camped in Blue Jay on top of the hill. There was an issue with the power on the side of the loop we were on and we were not informed before we got there. They did offer to let us stay and refund our…

We stayed at site 31. It was on the side with the bluffs. Beautiful sunset overlooking the lake. Trees separated us from the next campsites. It's very primitive so bring plenty of water.

Sequoyah State Park is just beautiful. I stayed in Paradise Cove in a tent site quite literally right on the water since this part of Oklahoma is experiencing flooding right now. There are flush toilets in this part of the park, but there are showers in others. There’s a short hiking trail, it’s…
We stayed the weekend and had a great time, there was plenty of things for the kids to do and enough space at our campsite that we didn’t feel crowded in.
I personally have been camping here since I was a child. Now we bring grandkids with us. We love it here for a quick weekend or a week.
Very nice and clean campground. Reserve early though this one fills up fast. We camped here in the middle of the week and they where already at 75%. Lake side spots are not advisable if you have little ones, the bluffs are very close to the fire pits and have about a 30ft drop.

The north and south sides of the lake have always been a great place for anything from adventure to relaxation, grilling, boating, water skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking/riding trails and quaint enough for a good book or catching up on some studying...
Lots to keep the kids busy, we had a really good time. Campsites are pretty close together though so we didn’t have the space or privacy we like but I know we will go back.
Strayhorn Landing is well maintained and very neatly kept. The fishing is easy and there are plenty of facilities for ‘needed activities’. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back many times.
My wife and I decided to take a small primitive camping trip with our puppy to see how she'd do in a tent. We had a wonderful experience-- a great view, hot showers, and very friendly campers. We were at first nervous that our campsite would be noisy as it it near the boat dock, but it wasn't very…
It's a wide open area, beautiful lake views, and plenty of firewood around, freindly groundskeep, kinda pricey though 17 a night for primal.
The campgrounds was amazing and the store staff was decently friendly but the owner and his wife where rude and being nasty I went to have my dgter Birthday and they charged everyone that wanted to enjoy her day $10 not a carload A PIECE my son has ptsd so we brought his service animal which is…
I enjoyed my stay. I was able to get in even though I didn't make a reservation. I might add that most gov run camps now require online booking and payment. Some of the sites are small and would be hard to get a larger RV into so you might want to call the keepers and ask about that. Nice…
We spent several days camping at Bernice State Park. Spacious, open sites and beautiful views of the lake. They have a hiking trail, but it was closed while we were there as they were getting it ready for Halloween. Didn't use the restrooms. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.
