Loop C provides the most spacious sites at this seasonal campground, where permanent residents create a neighborhood feel among the three camping areas. Thousand Trails Wilmington operates from mid-April through October, accommodating RVs up to 76 feet with full hookups across its A, B, and C loops.
The campground sits near Caesar Creek State Park, giving campers access to hiking and mountain biking trails at Ceasar's Creek State Park Campground. A heated pool anchors the recreational facilities, joined by a game room, basketball court, and miniature golf course. "It's nice and quiet. People seem to be very friendly," notes one reviewer who appreciated the bath house cleanliness during a hot water tank failure.
Cell service varies by carrier, with T-Mobile showing stronger performance than other networks according to recent visitors. The campground maintains a lending library and playground near the pool area, plus laundry facilities for extended stays. C loop offers the most wooded setting for those preferring tree cover over open sites.
Full-time RVers and seasonal campers make up much of the clientele, creating a settled atmosphere that works well for longer stays and those wanting established neighbors rather than nightly turnover.
