INSIDE

☀️ The light-filled vaulted living room is the perfect place for spending quality time together.

📺 Watch a movie on the giant Roku TV. Have your sign-in info handy for all your favorite streaming services + cable subscriptions or enjoy the available free channels.

♟ Play games and build puzzles (provided).

🍽 Make amazing meals. The dining room seats 6 and is located next to your fully stocked kitchen. You have everything you need to make coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner. Service for 6 adults and 4 children including platters for family style meals at the table. The refrigerator has an ice maker but it’s always smart to bring an extra bag of ice.

🚿 There is a full bathroom with shower on the main level which is shared by two bedrooms, also located on the main floor.

👯 The first guest room contains 2 twin beds and space for an optional twin air bed (provided) along with a little play area for the kiddos.

🌿The second guest room comfortably sleeps 2 adults in a queen bed and has direct access to the shared porch where you’ll find your hammock just outside the door.

🧺 Please feel free to use the washing machine + dryer. We will leave a couple pods for you.

🧘🏾 Upstairs you will find the perfect space to retreat— the master suite with open sitting area perched above the living room is perfect for listening to records on the record player (vinyls provided). Watch out—pillows and blankies so soft n fuzzy you may just treat yourself to a snooze 😴

Inside the master you have a private en-suite bathroom, chair + ottoman, full length mirror, set of two silky robes and a desk/vanity.

🚨IMPORTANT🚨

Blue Moon is the perfect lakeside accommodation for 4 adults and 2 small children, however, up to 6 adults are welcome. Read that again. I promise it makes sense. 😊

**Not suitable for more than 6 adults.** If you have 6 adults and wish to put two children on air mattresses there is an additional fee and permission is required in advance of check-in.

Each adult on property must be a registered guest. You will add each person to your reservation by inviting them via email through the Airbnb app.

👮‍♀️ Maximum of 3 cars at any time. There is NO STREET PARKING. You have 1 small parking place on gravel and a narrow driveway for 2 cars to park end to end. Additional cars are not permitted. They must park outside the neighborhood.

🚑 Blue Moon is a funky cabin so the terrain leading to, as well as surrounding is rough, rocky, dusty, sloped and all around hostile toward bum hips, high heels and any other mobility challenges. Please exercise caution when walking anywhere on property.

⭕️ Gather together on the comfy porch which wraps around the main floor as you gaze out trees, birds and water.

🎣 Excellent fishing spot— bring your poles!

🦢 Bird Watching

Expect to see cranes, robins, jays, geese and giant blue heron depending on the season.

🌲 The upper deck, located off the master bedroom, is your personal treetop nest. Chill together on the double lounger, enjoy fresh air and the sounds of nature while nestled in the swaying trees.

🤫 Check out the secret swing spot. Pick a seat and swing to your own beat. The view from down here is our favorite. (Located below deck!) Be careful getting down here as the ground is uneven consisting of dirt, gravel and pine straw. You’re in nature!

🛀 Outdoor showers are cool but ever take an outdoor soak? Near the swing spot you’ll find your outdoor soaker tub perfect for cooling off in the hotter months and warming up in the cooler ones. All you’ll need is your favorite beverage and a towel.

⛺️ If you’re into glamping, venture a little further down the property toward the lake. Charcoal grill, fire pit, hammock, string lights, double kayak and loads of nature await. Feel free to bring your paddle board and rafts! You’re on the narrowest part of the lake here but it opens up big and deep as you paddle along.
