Turtle Island is amazing

Turtle Island  is a great place to camp.  It is shady and quiet.  The water is beautiful and clear.  The location is convenient to get the Ranger Station store or anywhere on Lake George,

One correction, however: Turtle Island is not in the Mother Bunch Islands; it is in the Glen Island Group which is in the Narrows.  The Mother Bunch group is further north up the lake.

Awesome!

Awesome spot- camped on a little peninsula at the south end of the island. Gets a little loud with boat traffic at times, but really a great spot. Well maintained spots, plenty of shade, lots of trees!
