Kings Bay Campground

Kings Bay is a great, quiet little campground. The staff is very helpful and understanding. This is our shakedown trip before we head south, we have been here a month after purchasing our new fifth wheel. When we pulled in, it was pouring rain and Steve from the front office came out to help and offered the clubhouse to our kids while we set up. He put a movie on for them and let them sit in the lounge. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is there is no playground for the kids, plenty of open spaces and a lot of kids running around!

Kings Bay made a great stopping point during our trip through northern New York. We were able to shower, get everything connected, catch up on a few things using the Wi-Fi, and recharge before the next part of our drive. Very convenient setup for RV travelers.

We had one day where the weather didn’t cooperate with our outdoor plans, so we ended up spending some time in the recreation hall. It actually turned into a really fun afternoon of games and hanging out together. Nice having somewhere to go without needing to pack everyone into the car.

We have a bigger RV, so I always pay attention to how easy a campground is going to be before booking. Kings Bay turned out to be a comfortable choice for our setup.

Took a paddleboard out in the afternoon and ended up staying on the water way longer than planned. Such a fun way to spend a summer day.

We chose Kings Bay because we wanted to spend most of our trip outdoors and close to Lake Champlain. One afternoon we borrowed a paddleboat and just cruised around for a while with no real destination. Came back, made dinner at the camper, and called it a day. Hard to complain about that kind of vacation.

Kings Bay has such an easygoing feel. Friendly people, beautiful surroundings, and a nice place to enjoy a few quiet days.

Kings Bay has become our favorite place to spend the warmer months. We enjoy the quiet mornings, casual afternoons, and evenings outside when the campground starts to settle down.

One of the things we enjoy most about Kings Bay is how easy it is for different generations of our family to enjoy the same trip. The kids can stay active and explore, while the adults have plenty of time to sit outside, talk, and relax. We have celebrated birthdays and family get-togethers here, and it has become a place that everyone looks forward to visiting. There is something special about having a familiar campground where so many memories have been made.

Our family brought our camper to Kings Bay for the whole summer, and it has been a great place for us. The kids always have something to do, whether they are near the water, riding around the campground, or spending time with the friends they’ve made here.

Keeping our camper at Kings Bay for the season has made summer weekends so much easier. We can come up whenever we have a few free days without worrying about towing the RV, finding a new site, or packing everything each time. The lake is obviously the biggest highlight for us. We love having easy access to the water, and the campground is peaceful without feeling isolated. The recreation hall is also nice to have when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

This was our first time staying at Kings Bay, and we had a really relaxing weekend. Our RV site had the hookups we needed, and the campground was quiet enough that we could actually slow down and enjoy being outside.

We’ve spent several summers camping at Kings Bay, and it has become one of our favorite places to get away. Most days we spend time near the water, take the kayak out, or just relax outside at our site. The campground has a friendly atmosphere, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the other campers over the years. It really feels like a second home during the summer.
