The park features 1,500 feet of beautiful sandy beach including 600 feet of guarded swimming area. Inland, Sterling Pond and Creek are centrally located amongst the geological transition between wood and water. Campsites and cabins are nestled within the gently rolling woodlands. Boat rentals include row boats, paddle boats, canoes and kayaks which are only for use on the inland Sterling Pond. Three separate campgrounds and a 30 unit cabin colony each contain a centralized restroom building with showers. Two additional cabins and three cottages make up the self contained units available for reservation. Campgrounds consist of 46 electric sites and 138 non-electric sites. A ball field, hiking trail, camp store, concession, 5 picnic areas, 2 family picnic tent rentals and 2 shelters (one heated) are also offered as an attraction to patrons. Incredible

We camped here two nights at the lake view area and loved it! Spacious sites, not all are enclosed with trees but still plenty of room to spread out, we had two tents, two cars, a boat & a pop up table over tent and had plenty of room to have other come and visit. Showers were super clean & wicked spacious. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful when we needed to switch our site due to unkind neighbors. Awesome beach & plenty of fishing areas, super cute town to go into if you please. Definitely will be back!

Bonus: nice beach

Very clean, well kept campground. Campsites are spacious and shady. Nice playground for kids. Access to park trails. A very nice sand beach on the lake. Reasonably priced including electric power and showers.

This haven is more than fair

Not too far from Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany. Sunsets are amazing. Sandy beach and hilly wooded park. Basic though recently renovated facilities with electricity at a lot of the tent sits. Get a site by the buffs if you have a tent that can take some serious wind (especially in fall). Avoid Drumlin loop, it’s sandier and smaller sites. They have cabins too. Favorite park in the area and they take good care of it.
