Description
Ausable River Campground spreads across roughly 130 acres of mature hardwoods and pines along the banks of the Ausable River in Keeseville, in the northern Adirondacks. Riverside sites, quiet woods, and easy river access make it a good base for families, couples, and anyone heading into the High Peaks. Ausable Chasm is 6 minutes away and Ausable Brewing Co. is about 10.
Sites include primitive tent sites, tent sites with water, full-hookup standard RV sites with 30 amp service, and deluxe full-hookup sites with 50 amp. Pop-ups are welcome. Book nightly, weekly, monthly, or seasonally. The park is open year-round, with the summer season running May 1 through September 30 and winter camping October 1 through April 30.
On site you'll find a rec hall, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, riding trails, fishing and river access, a propane refill station, a rentable pavilion, Wi-Fi, a dump station, and bathhouses with free showers open 24/7.
Dogs are welcome. Check-in is 1:00 PM and check-out is 12:00 PM, with quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The office is open daily 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM in season.
