Adirondack Acres Trail and Camps

Off-road enthusiasts will find Adirondack Acres Trail and Camps requires serious driving skills to reach its riverside location near Keeseville. The private campground sits close to a river with drive-in and walk-in access, though campers need a capable 4x4 vehicle to navigate what one visitor described as driving through "what looks like an enchanted forest." The rough access road leads to a notably private setting where guests report seeing no other people in the immediate area.

Basic amenities include toilets, trash service, and allowances for campfires, pets, and alcohol. Reservations are available for this paid campground. The combination of challenging vehicle access and secluded riverside positioning makes this spot well-suited to experienced campers comfortable with rough roads who prioritize privacy over convenience.

Best camping of my summer

Christina is a gem of a human being.

This prime location is very private. There is absolutely no one around as far as the eye can see in the area close to the river.

If you have a good 4x4 and some driving skills, you can reach the river with your car. You will drive in what looks like an enchanted forest.

I will definitely come back!
