Are you looking for a place where you can retreat from all the chaos. Do you enjoy a night under the stars in the wild, but don’t like to rough it. Retreat Wild-u-can is designed for you. A glamping experience just minutes up the road from Navajo Lake state park and Marina where remote camping meets luxury. We provide you with some of the comforts of home wrapped in a tent or tiny cabin while providing traditional camping environment. Many of our one of a kind structures are hand built using lumber milled from the the pinion and juniper trees on the land. Our glampsites provide you with clean beds, a bathroom, a solar shower a cooking area with a bbq grille, lighted trails, a fire pit. You will awake to awe inspiring views of the lake, and enjoy sunsets to remember. The sites are pearched atop cliffs and canyons above the pine river branch of Navajo lake. They require a short walk and there are tall cliffs that present some hazard so they are not intended for small children or the weak hearted. All of which adds to the rugged beauty and seclusion of our camp sites. If your seeking a unique place to recover from a hard day on the river, lake or chasing big game, or you are just escaping the norm. Lace up your boots, grab your partner, pack your cooler and Retreat Wild-U-Can!

(If you intend to bring children please contact us ahead of time so we can help you make for a safe enjoyable experience).

      Old KOA but better

This is not desert Rose campground but Morris campground. An old KOA from the '70s. Very well maintained and clean. Very friendly staff and helpful. Would stay again.

      Good, especially in a pinch

RV spot that has tent sites. They gave us an RV site because the tent sites were full. Maybe a little pricey but we were running out of daylight - the staff were really nice and the park is quiet even though it's near a main road. Bathrooms were nice!

Like many in the desert, a parking lot

Nice enough, everything worked. Basically a gravel parking lot. Site is level. Easy to maneuver, laundry looked very nice. As so often the case wi-fi was worthless background radiation…

      Good overnight spot

Full hook ups, pull through spots. Didn’t use the facilities, but they looked modern and clean. Basically a gravel parking lot. My only complaint is no grass, but they do have a fenced in area for dogs to play off leash and actually keep waste bags in stock. Overall a good place to overnight. Thank you!

      Nice place

Our car broke down so we had to stay here. I think it was a great spot to break down. The pool was amazing and refreshing. The bathrooms had a code to get in and were clean. There were lots of families around.

      Large spaces

This is an RV Park with many RV Spaces, tent sites, and some cabins for rent. The RV sites are easy to get into, relatively level, and have tables and grill/fire pits. There is gravel on the spaces- although they could add more gravel. Nice dog park divided into two areas so your dogs don’t have to co-mingle. There is a clean, reasonably priced laundry room and a swimming pool. The spaces are nice and wide and many have large trees for nice shade, but some don’t and have full sun. There are multiple tent sites, with tables and grills as well; along with a site for large tenting groups.

      Great customer services, clean bathrooms

We stayed her overnight as we were passing through, called ahead, the lady was very kind and informative. The bathrooms were clean. Spots were pretty close together but over all perfect for overnight stay.

      Great stop

Great laundry with big washers and driers and lots of space to fold clothes. The bathrooms are big and very clean. Owner was so great and so kind. Will stay again when passing through. Only downside is there are no trees or grass but it was perfect for what we needed!

      Just what I needed

After two days roughing it in the wilderness with no facilities, Moore’s was a great place to pitch a tent, take a shower and relax in a chair in the shade before heading to Durango. I have stayed here twice and will do so again
