An actual spring sits on the property, and Great Horned owls have been spotted in the trees surrounding it after dark. The terrain is open, and New Mexico's wide skies give clear sightlines for sunsets and stars. Access involves a rough road, so low-clearance vehicles should proceed with caution. Full hookups, drinking water, showers, and a dump station are on-site, all at no cost. The host is on-site and known to be attentive. Campers exploring campgrounds around Carrizozo will find a few other options in the area, including Four Winds Motel & RV Park to the northeast.

WELCOME TO MOUNTAIN SPRINGS RANCH RV PARK
Enjoy the beauty of the area on your drive over to stay with us. As you turn down the road off Highway 54 you will cross over a working Union Pacific railroad track but please be careful and stop to look both ways before you cross as this specific crossing does not have an arm or flashing caution lights. Please maintain a slow speed down the dirt road as you will want to admire the landscape, openness and peacefulness that surrounds you and you will also need to watch for cattle that may be on or near the road.
In lower portion of our RV Park we have short-term rentals including nightly, weekly and monthly stays. These sites all have full hookups to include 30 AMP electric, water and sewer. All of these sites are spacious pull through sites with room to roam.
