Rustic off-grid dry camping and boondocking just west of Albuquerque with easy access from I-40. Perfect for travelers passing through who need a quiet place to relax for a day or two while enjoying open desert views, peaceful nights, and authentic Southwest camping vibes.
This is a dry camping/boondocking-style property designed for everyone from tent campers and van lifers to large RVs and overlanders. Guests have access to a freshwater fill station and sewer dump station, both included in the cost of your stay. Please note that, at this time, the water and sewer stations are not located directly next to the campsites.
Pets are welcome as long as guests follow the posted pet policy and clean up after them.
No fireworks are allowed due to desert fire conditions. Small bonfires are welcome when conditions permit, and firewood is available for purchase onsite.
Whether you’re stopping overnight on a road trip or looking for a quiet desert escape for a couple of days, this spot offers a simple, rugged, and relaxing off-grid camping experience.

Directions
When you arrive at the Laguna Burger Pit Stop gas station near 12 Paramotor Drive NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114, pull into the station and head north behind it. You’ll see a red sign that says “Now Entering Laguna Pueblo.” Don’t worry, you are still within Albuquerque city limits at this point. The actual Laguna Pueblo boundary is still about 4 miles farther north, so you are fine to continue. Continue north past the sign and over the cattle guard for approximately 1.5 miles, then make your first left turn into the camping area. Expect rustic desert roads, open space, quiet surroundings, and classic Southwest desert views. Accessible for RVs, camper vans, overlanders, and tent campers in normal dry conditions.
