Green Meadow Camping Area

We picked Green Meadow due to it's proximity to Story Land. Didn't realize it's literally right next door... We could have walked if we weren't lazy. Worked great, going in the afternoon one day and getting free passes the following day. So we got to hit all the rides as much as we wanted. 

Also close by to other activities like Cranmore Mountain (cool summer activities for kids), and North Conway. 

Being so close to the park, we DID have a lot of noise from the park. Rollercoaster and sound effects could be heard all day long, which is fine since we like to be out and about. Noise shut down early, with the park, so zero issues overnight. 

Everyone we ran into was pleasant, and evenings had scores of kids riding bikes and having fun around the playground. Very family friendly.

We were here for a quick weekend trip. Stayed at a W/E site. Not very busy when we were here. Site was nice with some trees. Quiet. Has a basketball hoop, playground, pool, and volleyball net. Looks like they may have other yard games at the office. From a distance the pool seemed nice, didn’t check it out though. We came to go up Mt. Washington, only about 15-20 minutes down the road. Close to North Conway. Propane refill about 1/4 mile down the street. Great location. We would come back.

Second week of September and it's super quiet here. Lots of shade and nice site. Easy to get in and out. Friendly staff. Wood for $6, ice for sale too. Pool and playground for the kids. Didn't use showers or bathrooms but they look okay. One coin operated washer/dryer. Located near shopping and fuel. Nice hiking nearby. Would definitely stay here off season. Owners say it's hopping with kids during the summer.

We stayed in our pop up for a quick weekend and we were very impressed. There were several small bathrooms throughout the park which made it super convenient with little kids! We stayed in loop B which was nice and wooded. Plenty of space to back in to and there was a fire ring and picnic table, with plenty of room. There were TONS of kids which was great for us, but may not be everyone’s cup of tea. The band on Saturday night was so fun and the kids loved it. The pool was extra clean and nice. Everything else was super clean and easy to access. We will be back for sure!

This is a nice little campground for families, especially those looking to check out Story Land which is literally next door. We stayed here for a few days. One bath house and multiple flush out houses around. Pool and playground were great for our little ones. The people running the site were very nice and accommodating. They do wagon rides around the site in the evening too.

Wonderful place the Host is great his family has run it for five generation's . He puts band's and other things on during the weekends. Has clam bakes and cookouts for his campers. Keeps the campground soooo clean. Plenty of amenities so you don't want to leave and when you do biking and hiking just outside the campground. Oh and the families will enjoy the theme park right next door. Convenient to groceries store gas etc. Wonderful shopping and things to do close by
