Unionville Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Managed by the Bureau of Land Management within the Humboldt River Field Office, Unionville Park sits in a small historic community surrounded by dry sagebrush country. A creek runs through town and keeps the park notably green, with large shade trees providing cover over the picnic tables. Fire rings are available on-site, along with freshwater and pit toilets. Nightly rates run $10 to $50. Nearby historic building foundations and off-road or mountain bike trails give campers reasons to stay beyond a single night. Those wanting water-based recreation will find Rye Patch Reservoir State Recreation Area about 8 miles to the west.

Free, friendly area, an oasis.

This is a small community park which is wonderful for picnicking, and allows overnight stay. Freshwater is available as our pit toilets. There are some fire rings. In the middle of dry sage brush country, a crisp crystal clear creek runs through the little town and the park is kept very green with large shade trees.  Nearby historic buildings and foundations to explore, as well as a few off-road or mtn bike trails.
