BLM's Humboldt River Field Office manages this dispersed site off a roughly 0.8-mile dirt road near Orovada Rest Area. The road is unpaved and dusty but has handled rigs as large as a 28-foot Airstream without requiring four-wheel drive. Space is limited to a small flat area at the road's end, so arriving early matters. Pets are allowed off-leash under standard BLM rules, cell service is available, and campfires are permitted. Finding the turnoff can be tricky, so note your coordinates before heading out.
