Pine Creek Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Getting to Pine Creek Campground takes commitment. The dirt roads into this US Forest Service site in Humboldt National Forest are rough enough that high-ply tires are strongly recommended, and the nearest town is roughly 60 miles away, so arriving self-sufficient is less optional than expected. The campground sits in a forested setting alongside a creek that runs most of the year, with toilets on-site and a 25-foot RV limit. Pets are welcome. Hikers and equestrians have access to camping near Humboldt National Forest across the broader region. The season runs May through November. If the remoteness suits your style, this one rewards the effort.

Remote Mountain Camping

Primitive & hard to get to but worth it. Trees, privacy, year round (mostly) creek. Take everything you need & pack it out please. It's 60 miles one way to town. Go slow on 4 ply, 10 ply greatly preferred on these dirt roads. Awesome hiking & horseback riding- some of the best in the country, my opinion.
