Fluorspar Wash Road BLM Dispersed — Bare Mountain

Bare Mountain rises out of the southern Nevada high desert along US-95 south of Beatty, a stark Paleozoic massif ringed by volcanic terrain and a long history of mining activity. Fluorspar Wash Road runs along the mountain's western flank, offering pull-outs on graded dirt with dark, star-filled skies well clear of town glow. Be aware that an active mining operation up the road generates consistent truck traffic — historically starting as early as 3 AM — that can make overnight rest difficult.
