Riverside Park

County-managed Riverside Park sits along the Little Blue River in Hebron, offering 14 RV sites with electrical hookups on a mix of concrete pads and grass areas. The campground operates on a first-come, first-serve basis from May through November, with sites accommodating RVs up to 32 feet.

Most sites provide electrical connections, though water hookups are available at only select locations. The facility includes restrooms with hot showers, and campers consistently note the cleanliness of these amenities. A dump station operates behind the bathroom facilities for RV waste disposal. Sites range from $5 to $25 per night depending on hookup availability and seasonal pricing.

The wooded park setting provides some shade while maintaining open areas near the river access. GoWhereYouAreDraw N. describes it as a "wooded park very near the Little Blue River." Two pull-through sites sit at the parking lot edge, while back-in options offer more separation from the main area. Cell service through AT&T works reliably according to multiple visitors.

Campers seeking additional options in the region can explore campgrounds near Republic or visit nearby Little Blue Wildlife Management Area for a different camping experience. The location provides convenient access to fishing along the river and connects to local hiking opportunities.

Quick Tour

We drove through the campground earlier this year to scout it out. We recorded our visit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvsrF7RsZBk) so that we would remember what we found.

There is a dump station behind the bathrooms. There are 14 spots with electric hook-ups. The RV campground is first-come, first-serve.

Well maintained

This is more of a city park vibe rather than a camping spot but it's well maintained with plenty of amenities for staying the night on our way through

Pretty park

Nice place to stop for the night in the heat. Stopped because we needed electric for the air conditioner. We are at a level concrete pad site. Water is available but not at our site. There are two long-term campers here with permits. Some sites have concrete, others are grass. $15 for the night. Very quiet on a Sunday night.

city pool within sight

Wooded park very near the Little Blue River. It is located in the middle of the 'town'. Riverside Park has hot showers and restroom facilities available. Sewer dumping is available at a drive-thru area on the South end of the campground. There are some covered picnic facilities and rock bar-b-que area for grilling
