Gallagher Canyon SRA offers Primitive camping. The heavily wooded campground offers 24 nonpad campsites with no electricity. Primitive restrooms are available. There are no showers, drinking water or dump and fill stations.

At Cozad, NE go south 8 miles on Hwy 23 to Gallagher Canyon sign, turn left or east on Road 751 2 miles, turn north 1 1/2 miles on Road 422 turn left or west at signs posted, travel on gravel road through corn field 1 1/4 mile arriving at Gallagher Canyon.
