West of Rexford by less than a mile, Kamloops Terrace sits within Kootenai National Forest as a US Forest Service campground offering both drive-in and walk-in access. The established campground provides basic amenities including restroom facilities and allows campfires and alcohol. Campers can reach sites by vehicle or on foot depending on their preferred setup.
The forest service location puts visitors near Rexford Bench Campground just two-tenths of a mile south. Douglas Hill OHV Area operates six-tenths of a mile north for those bringing off-highway vehicles.
