Fangthorn Forest Campground is located near dense woodlands in Missouri, offering a setting surrounded by trees and natural landscapes. The area experiences temperatures ranging from the 30s in winter to the 80s in summer. Nearby, visitors can explore the scenic trails of Knob Noster State Park and the historical sites of Warrensburg.
Description
A lovely secluded glen surrounded by woods at the edge of a 40 acre farm. Parking is just across the bridge from the primitive campground. Outhouse is at the edge of the camping area and is clean and well maintained. Firewood is provided. There are trails through the woods, but good shoes are a must! If there is a possibility of rain, mud boots are highly recommended. Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash at all times. We will be happy to give you a tour of the farm as well as introduce you to our cows, alpacas and horses.
