Cracker Barrel — Cape Girardeau

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Five pull-through sites sit behind the Cracker Barrel building, right off the highway and surrounded by hotels and commercial businesses. Lighting is good. Campers have reported Verizon signal here, and the manager has been approachable about overnight requests. Noise is a real consideration: road noise from the highway is present, and early-morning activity from trash pickup and landscape crews around 5:30 a.m. has disrupted sleep for some. Campers planning a stop in the campgrounds around Cape Girardeau area should factor in that earplugs or a white noise app may help. Minor leveling is typically needed.

Convenient but noisy

If you need a place to overnight this is a very convenient stop! It was very noisy for us, a semi with his motor running all night and trash picked up at 5:30 am plus landscape crew starting at 5:30 am also meant not much sleep.

Easy place to overnight

Right off the highway, easy to get to. 5 pull through RV/bus sites behind the building. Well lit and surrounded by hotels and other businesses. The manager of the Cracker Barrel was friendly and easily approachable when we asked to spend the night. Low level of road noise being close to the highway. Minor leveling required. Good Verizon cell signal.
