Tucked away on top of heavily wooded, rolling hills along the shore of Spring Lake this campground provides excellent hiking and fishing opportunities. The campground has 32 sites for tent and small trailer use. It connects to a section of the North Country Trail, which is also part of the 21-mile Fife Lake Loop (connecting Spring Lake State Forest Campground to Old US-131 State Forest Campground). This trail is great for visitors looking for an easy overnight hike. Amenities include a gravel boat ramp, vault toilets and potable water from well-hand pump. The campground is in close proximity to the town of Fife Lake providing easy access to restaurants, gas and a convenience store for supplies and groceries. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations. This campground is managed by Mitchell State Park
